Living in New York City Experience (Karla Reyes)

My NYC experience was normal.

I came to NYC when I was really young and I don't regret it.

There's not much to say about NYC for me.

Just:

-busy streets.

-occupied families.

-busy students.

-newcomers, veterans.

-news anchors.

-journaling offices.

-non-profits, for-profit, etc.

You name it, the city has it.

-Shops upon shops.

-Multitude of people.

-Huge architectural buildings (honestly, I'm wondering how in the world can someone live that high, I can not, personally).

-Government owned buildings.

-Hospital owned buildings.

-Private practices, non-private practices.

-Loud music, loud singers. Beat-boxes (well you know the music players).

-Art-galleries, art-museums.

-Small business shops.

-Large corporations, non-large corporations (start-ups).

-Colleges, universities.

Where's the suburban? You may say?
Well it does exist. Depends on the locations.

-Let's not forget about churches, church establishments indeed.

I've been busy all my life.
Not much to say than what I've said.

-Agencies, talent agencies.

I've tried a little of everything without losing my salvation.
What can I conclude about myself?
I love God and His Word so wherever I go? That's my shield.

My shield of faith has kept me going and I don't understand it all.
I can't sit here and say I understand it all.

Not understanding why there's so much concepts in church buildings. But
I guess we have to be compliant with norms of the governmental system.

I'm not much of a talker but when I talk, I hope it's with importance.

Meeting people has been part of my life.
Boundaries have always been established,

I've written about my small testimony on Info. Page.

There's not much to say there neither, peculiar huh? Well yeah.

-Performance areas.

There's not much to say but read what I've written in Info. Page,

I've written some good nuggets for ya.'

Would I recommend a stay at casa New York City?

Depends if you like what you see when you arrive.

Everyone has their personal opinions, likes, dislikes, purposes.

So all in all, NYC is not bad. Try out areas around NY not just the city.

Google search areas in NYC.

Don't forget to pay attention to the news and try out

Maps applications for easy-navigation.

By the way, try out counties in New York (Google searching).

There's apps like Yelp & TripAdvisor that can help too.

I know, I sound like a tourist.

Maybe it's in me to be that way.

I learned a lot living in NYC.

I learned (on my own, not with anyone's guidance of course,
I'm very independent):

-Don't ask so many questions.

-Don't bother people, they have goals too.

-Be there for others when they need the church
and represent the church no matter what.

-Bless others and be a blessing, never be a burden.

-Learn and learn, even if I make a mistake, keep learning.

-Don't be afraid to meet new people.

-Everyone is precious and unique
in their own way.

-Learn music, learn tune, learn it all.

-"Be free mentality. Never let bad news get to you." -me to myself.

-Do research. Never be afraid of being self-taught (I just didn't know self-taught
was a thing [a movement] cool, cool).

-Don't do anything that can jeopardize your Christian testimony. -me to myself.

-If you're not ready to receive people into your life? Don't feel rushed to do so.

I need to give credit where due.
I owe it to my college professors and schedule advisors.
You all are amazing. Sorry, I couldn't continue in some of the classes!
(Incase, they read this one day, haha).
Not sure, only God knows the beginning and ending of this story we call: life.

-Help and be selfless every step of the way. God taught me well through Jesus so I got to apply what
I learned. He gave us the Bible right? Okay then.

Have ya'll seen bloggers who blog about food spots?
It's some people's jobs to create content for the public.

-Karla, don't be so hard on yourself. You have a lot on your plate already, with your church scheduling.
Getting B's and C's isn't going to affect the rest of those A's in English education mainly. -me to myself

-Don't allow all that knowledge to fall to the ground. -me to myself.

-Share it with others. But the right way.

-Community service, volunteer, intern, as much as I can.

I'll admit, interning again? Not happening!
I enjoyed the professionalism and the experience
brought my way. But oh no and that they allowed me
to lead in presentations.

-History is important. Look at the street names and it says:
'history.'

I never want to be so busy in things that lead to emptiness that
I don't get reminded of the fact people fought for my freedom.

-Fill myself with God and my schedule with the things of God.

And not let anything or anyone stop me. I've been doing well I'll let you know.

-Limit distractions.

Even those beautiful 20% off emails they sent when we're a clothing brands member.

All in all NYC is cool.
People are cool.
Just everyone's in their own world.
Busy busy.
This world keeps us busy.
Or is it the world leaders?
I'll leave you to conclude that
for yourselves.
